Book HereI went to this restaurant with my partner, who happens to be French. The cozy atmosphere and charming decor instantly made her feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and even myself who’s not a dessert kind of guy, wouldn’t say no to one of those “mousse au chocolate” (or however you write it). What stood out the most was the personal touch of the new management. When we inquired about one of the recipes, the Chef himself came to introduce himself and share some insights. This added a unique and memorable touch to our dining experience. Definitely coming back next time I stop at Bowral. Wishing the best of success to the owner Julien.
Had a beautiful lunch today - food was typically french and very delicious - nice to see the Brasserie back in business - congratulations Julien and all the very best
Had a wonderful dinner at Julien’s. The food was very tasty and the meals are a good size. The wine list had local wines which was a plus.

Meet Julien, the heart and soul of our brasserie. Not only is he the chef, but he's also the proud new owner. Julien's culinary journey began in the heart of France, where he, like most French people, developed a passion for food and cuisine from an early age. He spent weekends cooking with his beloved grandmother, making everything from bread and pies to jam in the summertime. This connection to family and food is a cherished part of French culture.
In Australia, Julien's passion led him to a 7-year adventure in the diverse world of hospitality, where he worked in various roles across many restaurants in Sydney. Today, his experiences from both sides of the globe come together to create the unique culinary experience you'll find at our brasserie. Join us to savor the flavors of his journey from France to Australia, all in one delectable place.
